Third Project Monitoring Committee meeting
The Third Project Monitoring Committee meeting took place on 15th of November 2017 in Vilnius with participation of project partners from the LOD and AB „Litgrid“ as well as representatives of the Ministry of Environment, State Service for Protected Areas and AB „Elektros skirstomieji tinklai“.
During the meeting the progress on the project actions implementation has been discussed. Director of the LOD Liutauras Raudonikis and project manager Justina Liaudanskytė presented monitoring report of the project’s actions in 2016. Biological experts Marius Karlonas and Julius Morkūnas gave an overview on the effectiveness of the protection measures on the high-voltage electricity lines as well as the breeding success of the Common Kestrel in the nesting-boxes overall Lithuania.
The members of the Monitoring committee were informed about continuation of the practical protection measures, which would increase the achievement of the project effectiveness. The details will follow.
