The last Project Monitoring Committee Meeting
The last Project Monitoring Committee meeting took place in Vilnius on December 19, 2018. The meeting was attended by the project partners - LOD and AB „Litgrid“ staff, as well as representatives from Ministry of Environment and State Service for Protected Areas under the Ministry of Environment.
During the meeting the Project implementation progress was presented and discussed, members of the Committee approved the Final report on the monitoring of the Project actions. The report for 2018 was presented by the Project assistant LOD Director Liutauras Raudonikis. Report on the effectiveness of the practical conservation measures on the high voltage electricity grid was presented by the biological expert Marius Karlonas, while the results of the breeding success – by biological expert Julius Morkūnas. The Final ex-ante and ex-post monitoring report on the impact of the practical conservation measures was approved during this meeting too. Results achieved by the project clearly showed positive impact and effectiveness of the practical conservation measures.
During the meeting the After-LIFE communication plan was also discussed and presented by the Project assistants Liutauras Raudonikis and Ieva Junevičienė.
Members of the Committee were informed about continuation of the Project actions and commitments of the partners.
