Dead birds were found during monitoring of electricity lines
During the monitoring of the electricity lines in September-October 55 dead birds were found. The main migration of various Turdus species was at the end of October. In comparison to the previous year fewer dead individuals of the European Golden Plover were found. This year was dry, therefore conglomerations of birds in the Northern Lithuania were not so abundant.

2018-09-10 Kelmės district- 1 Eurasian Woodcock, 1 Common Wood Pigeon were found.
2018-09-12 Panevėžio district- 1 Common Starling was found.
2018-09-24 Šiauliai district- 1 Common Wood Pigeon was found.
2018-09-24 Kelmė district- not found.
2018-09-25 Ignalina district- 2 Song Thrush were found.
2018-09-28 Joniškis district- not found.
2018-10-04 Kelmė district- 1 Eurasian Skylark was found.

2018-10-10 Šiauliai district – 1 European Golden Plover was found.
2018-10-15 Pakruojis district- 2 Eurasian Skylarks, 1 European Golden Plover, 1 Greater White-fronted Goose, 1 Common Chaffinch, 1 European Robin were found.
2018-10-16 Pakruojis district- 2 individuals of European Golden Plover, 3 Song Thrush, 1 European Robin were found.
2018-10-20 Joniškis district- 1 Western Jackdaw, 10 individuals of Song Thrush, 3 European Robins, 1 Common Blackbird, 1 Linnet, 1 Northern Lapwing were found.
2018-10-20 Joniškis district- 1 European Golden Plover, 2 individuals of Song Thrush, 1 Redwing, 1 Kestrel, 1 European Robin were found.
2018-10-21 Šiauliai district- 2 individuals of Song Thrush, 1 Swan, 1 Buzzard were found.
2018-10-22 Pasvalys district- 1 Song Thrush was found.
2018-10-22 Biržai district- 1 goose, 1 European Golden Plover were found.
