One of the most popular TV day show in Lithuania invited Lithuanian Ornithological Society to share the outcomes of the LIFE project “Installation of the bird protection measures on the high voltage electricity transmission grid in Lithuania” to the general public – one of the key project’s activity, devoted to the improvement of the Common Kestrel’s population in Lithuania, was presented to the audience.
Project ornithologist Marius Karlonas presented an overview about the birds’ protection measures on the electricity grids, nesting boxes, which have been installed for kestrels during the project and impressive results, which have been achieved within the project.
