Info stands in the project areas (E1)

ACTION E.1: Production and erection of the info stands in the project areas

 

Eighteen info stands during the second and third project year will be produced and erected at the project sites, selected for the installation of wires visualization measures (Actions C.1-2) in various parts of Lithuania. Concrete time of the info boards installation on each project site will depends on the progress of the implementation of the practical conservation measures there. Info stands will be placed in frequently visited and well visible to the public places. The notice boards material will comply with the requirements as foreseen in the Article 13 of the Common Provisions (Communication actions, publicity support and audiovisual products) and Life+ recommendations on designing of the notice boards. The information stands will be targeted mainly to the general public visiting the project site where electric wire visualization measures will be implemented. Therefore it will contain important and even surprising information about the bird mortality problems on the overhead electric lines grid and their potential solutions as well as possible advantages of the electric line pylons for certain breeding bird species. Then will be presented introductory information about the LIFE+ program and implemented project, and its management measures applied in the site. The info stands will also contain contact details of the project partners and project web site address.
